Terms of service
Last updated: March 24, 2026
By using StitchLark at stitchlark.com ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Use of the service
You may use StitchLark for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these terms. You may not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
- Upload images that violate copyright, contain illegal content, or infringe on others' rights.
- Use automated tools to generate patterns at a scale that disrupts the service for other users.
- Share your account credentials with others.
Your content
You own the patterns you create with StitchLark. By uploading images to the service, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of generating your pattern. We do not claim ownership of your patterns or uploaded images.
AI-generated patterns
Patterns generated by AI may not be perfectly accurate. They are a starting point — review and edit before stitching. We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated patterns or the cost of materials purchased based on them.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account page.
Refunds are handled case by case. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at hello@stitchlark.com.
Lifetime Plan. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that grants access to Pro-tier features for the operational life of the service. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product, not the purchaser. Monthly generation limits apply as described on the pricing page and may be adjusted with at least 30 days' notice. The Lifetime plan does not guarantee perpetual operation of the service.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for lost data or interruptions to service.
Service discontinuation. StitchLark is operated by a small, independent team. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, including any features or plans, at any time. In the event of a permanent shutdown, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice by email.
- We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via the email address associated with your account.
- During the notice period, you will be able to export all of your patterns and data in standard formats (PDF, PNG, and JSON).
- Active monthly and annual subscriptions will not be renewed after the shutdown date. Any prepaid subscription period extending beyond the shutdown date will be prorated and refunded.
- Lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable after 30 days from the date of purchase. The "lifetime" in Lifetime plan refers to the operational lifetime of the Service, not the lifetime of the purchaser.
Data Portability. Regardless of any service changes, you can export your patterns at any time from your account dashboard. We encourage regular exports of important work.
Limitation of liability
StitchLark is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). This limitation applies to all claims, including but not limited to service discontinuation, data loss, or interruption of service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
